Created from 100% natural wool in historically accurate colors based on archaeological findings from the Viking Age period (793-1066 CE). Our historically accurate overdresses feature traditional hand-stitching techniques with wool or linen loops as found in archaeological evidence. Typically worn by noble women of the Viking Age and often paired with rich tortoise brooches, these dresses could be worn over either wool or linen underdresses.
